I did a lot of research before making my decision about how to lose the weight I needed to get rid of. I even considered doing something drastic, such as surgery. I really didn’t want to do that, but I had 100 pounds to lose, and it just seemed like it would take forever and be a long and drawn out thing to get back to my ideal weight.
I had already gotten so discouraged that I put it off for way too long. I have needed to lose weight for many years, and I have gotten to the point where I wasn’t feeling well and was running out of energy very fast. A friend suggested that I look into one of the diet food delivery options before I went ahead to consult a doctor about having surgery.
I began doing research about many of those programs right after talking to my friend. I found that there are many diet programs that offer that type of service, but I was looking for something that also offered consultations, great reviews, a high percentage of success stories, and would offer me weight loss faster than the one to two pounds a week that most of them seem to boast about.
Medifast was one system that stood out to me as meeting all the conditions I had made. I also made sure that I read some of the testimonials and reviews, both positive and negative. I found that there are many more people who have used this program and had success than there are those who weren’t successful. I also found out that this system is highly endorsed by many in the medical field and has been recommended by doctors for people like me who have a lot of weight to lose.
I began Medifast a year ago. It took me 10 months to lose all the weight, and I have kept it off by using their suggestions for maintenance since I reached my goal weight. I feel better than I have in more than ten years, and I will make sure that I never put that weight back on. Losing weight wasn’t hard for me. It was easy because I found the right thing to help me. I’m so glad my friend encouraged me to look beyond what I thought would be the fast and easy way and to find the right way for me.
