My weight loss happened when I wanted it most, the months before my wedding. I was planning on getting married in August, and here it was January. I knew I needed to order my wedding gown within the next couple of months, but I was not happy with the extra 20 pounds I was carrying.
What is it about love that can make you gain weight? I had gained the extra weight in the year we had been engaged so far, and I was concerned with my appearance, as well as my health. I had always been in fairly good shape, and I am a lot more physically active than a lot of my friends. Anyhow, I knew the weight had to come off, and I had to do it quickly.
I went online to look for a program that would offer me the fast weight loss I wanted with the endorsement of the medical community. I didn’t want any fad diets or something that might put my health at risk. I found Medifast, a program that offers to help you plan and personalize your diet, and make sure you keep it within the program guidelines.
I placed my order from this diet food delivery service - four weeks’ worth of shakes, soups, and other things to keep me going - and when the order arrived, I was very happy to see that everything was there and packaged very well.
I started it, and the first week I lost four pounds. I was very happy with that, and I could really feel the difference. My waist had lost a whole inch, and I could wear some pants that had been too tight before, and be comfortable in them. I kept faithful to the diet, and by the end of the eighth week, I had reached my goal.
I was so happy with my weight loss, and I was able to order my wedding gown by mid March. Now, two months after my wedding, I am still at the weight I was at in March. I look awesome, or so my new husband says.
My gown was perfect, and the wedding was beautiful. Medifast really helped me, and I really don’t think that any other weight loss program would have worked as well for me. I plan on keeping the weight off for good, and I have been eating much healthier since I reached my goal.
